Big narley buck is still showing up periodically on the trail camera's. I took this 8 from a box blind along a travel corridor. 80 yard shot with my TC Triumph loaded with 3 50 grain pellets under a 245 grain TC Shockwave. Thought I might get a 150 yard shot so I had a little more umph than really needed. Knocked him off his feet.  One of my hunting buddies took this 8 headed to wheat at about 35 yards with his TC Triumph. We were watching the wheat when he snuck in behind us.  |

You guys have some good deer out in OK. Congratulations on the fast start. We open for Muzzleloader on Saturday....can't wait.

Dick, we normally dont see much during archery and muzzleloader season. I have a trail cam pic of a big 10, and a couple other nice ones I will post just for you. I sat my ladder stand the evening I shot the 8 and saw another eight who was wider and heavier. You guys can always come next year!

I leave in the morning for the MN general firearms opener. I don't carry my rifle until my son gets his deer. I carry my revolver while we are together and he is hunting. Then I switch to my TC Encore.
I am trying the 300 grain bonded ShokWaves this year over 2 777 pellets. It gives great accuracy at the ranges we have at our place.

Great looking deer Gary! I'm ordering my tags today for the next season  That neck was already getting pretty thick it appears in your picture. I saw 3 chasing does on wednesday morning on my way to a conference in the middle of KS. So i guess they are starting here too |

Had to watch 2 nice 8's from my partners ladder stand since I was already tagged out for Archery bucks. Wanting to kill does and only bucks showed up!
