I used to prefer 4 5/8" for 44 Specials, but 5.5" has really grown on me. BTW, did Lipseys just release more guns? A few have shown up on the auction sites this week. -Lee www.singleactions.com

When I ordered the grips for mine from the Ruger website, I really wanted the checkered version, but they were sold out, with no indication of when they'd be available. I ordered the smooth version and like them, but I still believe the checkered version like yours is a cut above. If I can locate a 5 1/2" Lipsey's , I'll go for a checkered set for it.
