I corresponded with Mr Linebaugh last year in reference to having a revolver commissioned. First off from what little interaction I've had with the man he seems to be a class act. Secondly I've got to think about the gun I send to him. My initial idea was to find an old model .44 SBH and have it converted, but the New Model is less work and cost. I know most of you guys have BOOMERS from Mr Linebaugh, but what options would you look into?

I'd just find a nice 45 Ruger bisley and let him do his 5 shot conversion on it. Barrel band or not is up to you but I'd go for it along with the Bowen rear sight then have him send it to his son Dustin for a nice set of grips. Just my two cents worth.
