I think mine is actually more of a "Need".... I have 6 and 7.5 inch FA 475s... That 4 3/4 gun would make it a real "set"

So, what's the story on the 500? You indicated that it has no markings.

I bought it a few years ago on one of the auction sites, amid a lot of speculation over who built it. It has no marks, and the caliber was determined by the original seller by careful measuring of the barrel and chambers. Barrel and Cylinder are replacements, Frame was opened up properly to accept the 5 shot cylinder. I shot it with fairly stout handloads and nothing fell off, rattled loose, or exploded violently. ;D
I figured someone would want it for a back up gun or project. As I stated in the ad, the hard parts like Caliber Conversion and 5 Shot Cylinder, are already done.

In the photo, I noticed that the serial number has been blurred. It also appears, at least a little, that there is a similar blur on the right side of the barrel, where I have circled in red. I reckon I am just seeing things that aren't there, correct? I'd like to see another close-up or two. I ask, because the gun is similar to this one, and the same spot on the barrel is where Clements made his VERY faint mark and caliber designation.

Sorry, MajorKap, I wish it were marked CCG there too. ;D
Thats just a low res-spot on the photo. I did blur the SN# which is my standard practice for non-historical guns.
I definitely need to take some better photos of it. Those are the pics from the auction when I won it initially.
