As I enjoy my last day of a weeks vacation, I ponder my time spent. Got several projects done, relaxed a fair amount and reacquainted myself with the forum. Even posted a few items I thought may be of interest. Which got me to thinking as I scroll through the various posts of which caliber, barrel length, grip, finish, brand, etc, etc,....we all like or deem the best. None of us(I don't think) remembers the time when our beloved single actions were really needed! As they were intended, as a tool, be it for food, defending one's property or I'm sure used to drive a nail or two. How good we have it! We can own as many as we like, leave them as is, or do all kinds of tinkering and adornments. Most importantly we are not oppressed by them. Have to wonder what an 1880's frontiersman would have to say about all this chatter? So, I should probably get off the couch and this computer and get something done. Heck with it, most of the chores are done, pantry's full and the bills are paid.....gotta love this country! Thanks to all who fought for us.
