I have developed a interest in leverguns lately and decided that I want one is 32-20.I know the Marlin is out there on the used market.Does any one have a opinion on new Italian copy's of any of the Winchesters? Any preference?

I'm not sure the Italian copies come in .32/20. I have an older Rossi in .357 that is a Dandy. I would love to have the same gun in .32/20. I've never seen a Marlin, but I'm sure they're a fine gun.

uberti has occasionally made some of the repros in 32/20 course you could get an old marlin 27 pump or the old remington pump....they are cool too.

You can usually find decent 1889 or 1894 (vintage or newer production) Marlins for not much more than the imports.

The Browning 53s are extremely nice and you can find them for under $1,000 if you keep an eye on Gunbroker. I've picked them up as cheap as $750, new in box. I also own a Marlin 1894CL and it shoots very well. I got an original Model 53 Winchester at a show early this year, too. Can you tell I like .32-20 leverguns?
