You would laugh......
I used just about exactly what blindhogg had on his website:
Enameled 'Stock Pot' from Wally World $13
Gas Burner from my fish cooker
Thermometer from my fish cooker
Stainless steel ladle / spoon from my first wife's kitchen
Stainless steel welding wire (to suspend the grip frame)
18" X 1/2" Rebar across the top of the "bluing tank" (to suspend the grip frame)
The fish cooker gets used far more often for frying turkeys...
Cautions: Use sodium nitrate NOT ammonium nitrate. DO NOT let any of the liquid splash on you. It boils at close to 300F (hotter than peanut oil) and it is extremely corrosive aside from being very hot. Use gloves and eye protection of some sort. Blind people do not enjoy guns nearly as much as you and me.
