I got an email from Gun Digest & they have Mr. Taffin's Single Action Sixguns on sale at $15.00 - what are they thinking?

I already have three copies (Dad, myself & son) so have at it.

I imagine we will all look back on this moment and kick ourselves when that book is selling for $100 a copy in a few years....

John's books are the cornerstones of my gun library. And I agree.....folks are going to look back on them the same way we do "Sixguns" by Keith.

I just checked their site and they list them for $20. Was yours a special deal beyond that?

If they really have them for $15, I'm mighty tempted to buy a dozen to put away.

On the email, it clearly states:
"Regular $39.99
Sale $15.00
You Save 63%"

I just clicked the link provided by the email & sure enough...$20.00

The email was sent Sept. 28th

Apparently someone saw the error of their ways and "economics" is kicking in. All of the other titles listed in their "Warehouse Sale" email prices jive with the website.

I have a few copies but I called and ordered 5 more. I can't think of a better gift to a gun buddy at some point. The lady on the phone honored the $15.00 price. They had 97 of them when i called. I know they are down to 92 at least now . FWIW.....GS

I guess I'll be calling, then. I wish I'd had the wherewithal in my youth to do something similar with all of Skeeter's books.

Seems old, but these books might have a better return in 10 years then some of the gun's in it's cover.
