UPS knocked on the door today about 6 weeks earlier than I thought they would and what a pleasent surprise they had. Colt Custom Shop 2" barrel bob and trigger and action tune. Pretty good tune with stock springs still in use. I've been wanting this configuration in a SAA for a few years now. It reminds me of the S&W 325PD I had that I wished I would have never let go.

That's a beauty. I'd love one just like it. Did they remove the ejector rod boss from the frame, or was it never there, or is it still there? Thanks

Gorgeous!
Congrats. May have to take it to the cider mills if BBQ's are hard to find.

I dont know if you could hear me at the range today or not so I'll say it again. YA-HOO! This gun turned out to be everything I was wishing for. I'll have to open up the rear sight a little as for fast firing the sight picture is a little slow. I shot about 40rds. of Tenex 200gr. cowboy loads thru it which only did 3" at 15yds., but this ammo has never really shot good in anything for me. I swapped out the cylinder for a 45ACP cylinder and started shooting standard power 230gr. FMJ loads. The 3" groups went down to under 2" with an occasional flyer. Windage is right on and elevation is about 3" high at 15yrs. in slow fire but comes right in under faster fire. Recoil feels about the same as shooting a 4 5/8" SBH with a 240gr. load at 1150fps. I shot 40 cowboy loads and then about 70 of the ACP loads and the cheese grater grips were starting to take thier toll on me. So much for that wart. The gun feels and points very well. I would recomend doing this to anyone who enjoys shooting dbl. action snubbies and enjoys single action guns to.
