Thought you guys might like to see these pics. I have an uncle, Kelly, that does very nice leather work and this is one that he recently made for a friend of mine. My friend, Dennis, was wanting a rather unusual holster for his mod. 29 Smith...a crossdraw that sits pretty horizontal and includes a military type flap. The holster is fully suede lined and also included a western style belt and carrier for two speed loaders. These are just a couple of pics that I took prior to completion of the rig, but will get the full set in hand for a photo op tomorrow I hope. And just to make you guys really sick, guess what the price was....$80.00!!! Thats right, eighty, not eight hundred. Dennins, being the great guy that he is tipped my uncle 100% for a total of $160...Still a bargain. I left my FA83 with Kelly for custom leather and hope to pick it up tomorrow as well. If I do I will post pics!! Justin

Stay away from suede lining. It wil collect and hold dirt, grit, etc and wear the finish. Line with smooth cowhide, or make it rough-out. Jayhawker Bob

OK guys, give me a break on the first pictures. They were taken with the camera on my phone which does less than a stellar job...I used what I had at the moment... Got everything in hand today and took a few pictures that turned out a bit better. This is the full rig as dreamed up by Dennis and made by Kelly. And this is the rig Kelly made for my FA.
