Hello Members,
New to the forum and “new” to single action revolvers. Looking to purchase my first 22 LR Ruger Bear cat or Ruger single six convertible.
From your experiences what needs to be done out-of-box on these revolvers.
Q: Has anyone put a bird’s head grip on a bear cat? Q: has anyone put a Bilsey frame eon a single six convertible?
Thanks in advance….!

SHOOT 'EM!
Yes to both. I've seen, but not handles, a round-butted Bearcat. Ruger made Single-Six Bisleys.
And WELCOME!

The Bearcat is a small gun, very different from the other ruger frames. If a birds head grip was wanted, one would have to be completely fabricated by hand. The Bearcat grip frame is part of the gun, not a seperate part like the other ruger single actions. You may be able to cut/weld a birds head together, but would be lots of work me thinks. As far as the Bisley Single Six...I believe i've seen someone on the Ruger Forum piece one together.
Someone with more smarts than me will respond soon im sure.
