Well done, sir! Very sharp lookin' and an excellent fit! I especially like the little bit of bark peeking up from the bottom of the second set (right panel). How difficult was the material to work?

I think you need to stock up on grip screws.
Very nice looking and excellent work. How many grips are in your set of antlers?

Thanks for the replies, actually the antler is very dense with little or no pith in the center like elk antler has. The material is good to work with because it is so stable and it is easy to polish if done with care. I have no idea how many sets of grips may be left in the first half of the set but I would guess there would be several . I plan on making a pair for my Flattop Bisley and I also have a new 44 vaquero sheriffs model in layaway at my local peddlers shop. That leaves at least one complete antler side for who knows what? I wil be stocking up on screws and escutcheons

Sorry steve.b but if I need to I am willing to take the blame. But in all fairness it was seeing "CLC"s grips and "Private"s custom grip that inspired me to try my hand at it. It was all because of this durn website. I love it
