They are appearing on the auction sites, in the $550 range.

.
Saw four today.
Two 3½ and two 4¾.
Consecutive serial numbers.
The owner won't break up the set.
Did any blued 4¾ models ever show up ?

I've got a call into a local shop to see what they can get me the pair listed above for, if they can get them at all.
Then I across a decent deal on a 500 S&W 4 inch, package deal with ammo, brass, leather, etc.
Another 500 will be a lot easier to find later than another pair 44 Spl stainless Vaqueros, but I'm much more "into" Smiths than I am single actions.
Decisions decisions.

Thanks, I check GUNBLAST every few days but somehow I missed that one. We talked once before about a .480 Puma levergun I was considering, I decided to go with a stainless 44 trapper instead and had Steve Young slick it up for me. It's a little cannon, I would imagine the .480 is a handful.

Yessir, I remember that. Steve does a great job, I'm sure that 44 is a daisy. The 480 is a neat 92 cartridge too, I like mine a lot.

I'm hoping that my Rossi 92 will feed 44 Specials with Keith bullets (they are too long in 44 mag cases) which would make a good pairing with the 44 Spl Vaqueros.

Yes they are out, but I was told that they were allocated to sales reps. I had my dealer inquire and he was able to get a 3-3/4 so now to save for a 4-5/8s Carl

My local pusher has pretty much all of the 44sp variants in stock right now. I know he had both blue std 44s, both Bisleys, a stainless std 4 5/8" gun, at least 1 3 1/2" blued New Vaquero and it looked like a stainless and blued 4 5/8 Vaquero as well but I only handled the 3 1/2" gun. They were all priced from $459 to $519 as I recall but I was not paying super close attention to that.
They are nice for sure...
So they are out there...

Groo here I am not real impressed with the 44 spec [ why when I have 44 mags!] How ever that 3 1/2 has me thinking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have a 3 1/2 inch stainless that came with a Montado hammer that is an excellent shooter. Also have pro to Base Mountain base pin to fit when I get a couple of minutes. Have to say I have a stainless bird's head grip frame that is just crying to be fitted.
