Don't go to the Gun Shop right after they open and are filling the cases. They will hand you each and every one to look at. Sensory Overload! R&K had a nice 1943 Remington Rand in the box. I could not shoot it if I could afford it. So Mary showed me this Auto-Ordinance 1911A1 and it looked almost identical to the original.
After a good cleaning and a few love taps on the rear sight as it was shooting left for me, it is the equal of the USFA at twenty yards. ;D
