Glenn...I remember talking to you right after you purchased it. Turned out great and I think it's neat both Linebaughs had a hand in it. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Ivory micarta. It took awhile (about 8 months) but I told him I was in no hurry and to take his time. GS It was well worth the wait! ;)Thanks Zues I will take this as great advice and not get in a hurry. I have been waiting 10 months. And I can agree on John L work, they shoot wonderfully. Thanks again for sharing! Boomer Count me in on that wait game also, I personally dropped my revolver off at Dustin’s shop early last December just for a set of grips – with haying, zeus and boomer, looks like it might be another couple of months or so.

Be patient guys. Bear in mind I had been waiting for a while before even sending one off for stocks. I waited to send it in until I was closer in line for the work. Dustin's work is well worth the wait. You'll be thrilled when they come home

Nice looking gun there Glenn.
Don't forget to go back and thank that server for spilling the sauce on you ;D Weird how bad happenings lead to good stuff.
The grips look real nice.

The revolver was a 375 Seville until Clements converted it to a 500 Linebaugh Maximum back in the early 90's.

I can't imagine that would be very fun to fire with full house loads and that style gripframe

I will find out as soon as the weather breaks. I had rubber bumpers on it prior and once I passed the mid-1,300fps barrier, nothing seemed comfortable and upon hitting 1,546fps with a 440 grain hardcast bullet I threw in the towel, as it snapped my wrist and bloodied my trigger finger pretty good. I think my wrist throbbed for 5 minutes and I only fired a 3-shot group. I have no desire to ever re-visit that experience. That Seville is just too damn lightweight for heavy loads and a Bisley grip frame might help a little but I think it would still buck hard enough that one would be looking for the towel.
Dustin did a good job filling it out, as the grip feels good in the hand and should spread the pain out a little more if I decide to get stupid again, but if it’s still a little much, I’ll put the bumpers back on for shooting and just go with the wood for show. A full-on custom revolver with bumpers just doesn’t seem right when you want to show it off.
