Wow. That did turn out nice. White micarta for grip material? You must have got some bad luck from me. I'm two for two on servers pouring strawberry margaritas down my back. At least the second time wasn't on a suit I'll bring paper towels when I get to check that one out. I suspect there will be drool to clean up.

Bill, I just need a little time to load a few rounds. It will be an enlightening experience We'll do that pretty soon for sure, just need a couple days out of the 100 degree mark to make it actually enjoyable though!!!

That's the classic 500 Linebaugh look. Reminds me of John Taffin's. Are the grips micarta or ivory?

Are the grips micarta or ivory? I had already asked in a PM. Glenn told me they are ivory micarta.

Very nice. Ivory or Micarta? Either is great flush all the way around almost looks like they just kinda grow right out of the frame. Curious how long did it take to get this done and returned. Thanks for reply and sharing. Boomer

Ivory micarta. It took awhile (about 8 months) but I told him I was in no hurry and to take his time. GS
It was well worth the wait!

I told him I was in no hurry and to take his time. GS This is advice that I have taken to heart. You fancy types with the classy guns have impressed this on me. Thank you.

That's the classic 500 Linebaugh look. Reminds me of John Taffin's. Are the grips micarta or ivory? That's actually one of the reasons I really like this sixgun. Mr. John's personal 500 is the one that I think of when I think of a Linebaugh 500 or 475. I drooled over that gun many times in his books. Turns out that the Linebaugh number of this gun is only 40 guns after Mr. John's gun. They are pretty close in the blued 500 series from John L. Another part of it that I really liked is the patridge style blade on the front. The ramp is the classic look but for some reason, I've always favored the post on these guns. Its not a fancy gun but it's one of my favorites.

That's a beatuful piece of hardware. It's almost identical to the one his dad is building for me. I didn't specify grips as yet, but those look mighty nice.

John built this gun Tully. Dustin updated a few things and made the stocks. So I guess they both have a hand in this one now
