Well, I finally got to fire off a few rounds today. Nothing formal, but just had to shoot her! Only had some .480 Ruger Hornady loads, but fun just the same. I know they are a far cry from full house .475 loads, but they still didn't have the recoil I expected.
Anyway, my first question regards the sights. Not fond of the factory sights.
What have you guys changed to, if anything? Was kind of thinking of some sort of ivory bead out front. What say you guys?
Oh, by the way, my fiance fired it as well. First time she fired my CZ .40 and .45 Redhawk as well. She liked it. I think she's a keeper.... ;D

I know this will probably ignite howls and claims of nausea, but I use my BFR for hunting in dense creek bottoms. I put on a fiber optic front sight. Works well for me.

I put a Bowen rear and a Weigand front on my 475 and am quite pleased with the combo.
