Ladies who chew tobacco aside, I believe that there are some configurations of handguns, rifles, and shotguns which are better "balanced" than others are. By this I mean that the pieces' combination of weight, barrel length and shape, grips/stocks, materials etc. all combine to make them easier to hit targets with them. The balanced guns take less effort on the part of the shooter to make good shots; more poorly balanced guns require that the shooter puts a lot of effort into making them shoot where he wants. Some of this is individual to each shooter, but there are guns like the SAA that most everybody feels are well-balanced guns especially in the shorter barrel lengths.
