new to me www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=178598967always liked and wanted one it shoots well but not as dead accurate as my pre-lock S&W K22 with 8 & 3/8" barrel for grins I shot some Aguila heavy 60 grains out of it, they keyholed even at 15 yards though still beer can accurate might not be a bad self defense round, though; the keyholing might even be a plus like the old long heavy .38 spl and .38 S&W long still a right fun little old plinker

Buck, That looks just like mine. Yours may well be older than the seller states. Mine has a four digit number and has been dated to 1933. As for ammunition I've been cautioned to use only standard velocity in mine due to the fact it may not have the heat treated parts intended for the high velocity ammo. Hi Vel ammo was introduced in 33 I believe. At any rate mine prefers regular Long Rifles for best accuracy. It does real good with the CCI and Aguila standard velocity ammo.
I noticed yours came with the box. Did you also get the owners manual?

CCI and Wolf match (greasy lil buggers) were nearly one hole groups, Remington not as good
a good and fruitful suggestion
