My long term friend, known to many coming over from the old Jim Taylor board as "Miles Fortis" slipped through town yesterday.
Sadly, I seldom see him. Work has taken him a long ways distant. Way in transit to The Shootists' annual hoodoo in NM.
He was packing a Walther PPS, in 9x19. Never handled one before. I was impressed. It's about the same size as a PP, but is locked breech. Modernity is seen in a Glockish trigger and polymer frame.
Felt good, visible sights, and certainly concealed well. Didn't get to fire it, but he assures me it performs well.
