Found today. Wood ain't too good a shape, post Mack Bolan non-montecarlo, but blue is pretty good, no safety, got a Bushnell Scopechief 4x on board. He's dropped price to $250, so that would make it bout $285 out door with our 9.75% sales tax and $10 TICs background fee.
What do y'all think?
That or a Marlin 917VS with Simmons 3x9 for about $230 OTD for a truck/vermin gun.

I'd buy it for that. Lee's post a few threads down has me wanting a 444 now.

I would jump on it. Then bob the barrel to 16.5" and add a receiver peep. Make a perfect truck/tree stand gun with lots of thump.

That is a steal on a great levergun. And only $55 more than a rimfire? No contest in my mind. Replacement stocks are easy to find if you dont like the one on it.

I'm not a fan of synthetic, but I believe Ramline makes a cheap replacement stock. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Just BUY IT and sort out what you'll do with it afterwards!

When I spot a deal that good I try not to overthink it. +1 on Boge's suggestion.
