Fobus foolishness

My sainted wife knows me too well... I have been a fan of Fobus holsters ever since I tried my first one, for my Ruger P97 45 auto. My only complaint about these functional yet hideously homely holsters was just that they were, well... hideously homely. I stumbled upon Buy Brown Holsters online and saw that they were making Kydex in other colors, including a flame treatment... I showed it to the Mrs, who asked to look at the Fobus rigs. She returned with these:









The overlays are PVC and adhere to the plastic with no adhesive. I imagine some may decry the "Hot Wheels" look, but I like 'em.

I have and like some Fobus stuff. I wouldn't put flames etc.. on my CCW/CHL stuff though. Sending a wrong message ya know. You can bet your peers in the jury box won't be asking where they can get some for themselves. Save them for the holsters you take to IDPA or such. steve b

Huh. I guess I've never heard of any case where the defendants carry rig was an issue for the prosecution. I'll be looking for a good Amish hide stretcher... and I feel bad for all you guys that paid big money for tooling or initials on your carry rigs....

They are yours, only you have to be happy with them. As I stated, I have and like some Fobus holsters and mag holders. Also stated my further opinion. That was mine, and I'm happy with it. Some 90 or so others saw the thread and didn't offer one, maybe I shoulda passed too. steve b

Easy there big fella... check the title of the post. Theres nothin serious about this arrangement. You're entitled to your opinion and no offense intended: it just struck me as funny. " The shooting would've been perfectly justified, but once we saw the fireball/jellyfish sticker on his holster, we knew he was just lookin for a fight. We say lock him up and throw away the key!" As I said, no offense intended. The entire post was meant for foolishness... and I do like 'em. Just for foolishness sake.

Hoss, we're cool. I deal with many situations by using my sense of humor. Just not CCW/CHL. I help a friend give the classes here. I want everything possible to go my way. As O.J. found out, its easier to beat the criminal trial, than the civil trial. Stay safe. steve b
