Just got this one back from John. John trimmed the 6.5" barrel to 5.5" and added the weigand front. Scalloped it and did the action. I just bisleyed it tonight. May put a lanyard ring on it.

He does do fine work. That is one nice looking pistol. You may be on to something with the 5 1/2" barrel on a Ruger. I always settled on the 4 5/8, but preferred 5 1/2 on my SAA's. Hmmmm, I only have 2 of his guns now, maybe I need to look for a 357 to send him for some of his magic and a 5 1/2" barrel as well. I think I know where a long barreled Bisley might be gotten for a decent price too........this forum is gonna be my undoing!
