Had a hard time keeping this old fart away . I have put the dogs on him three times . I have shot in the air and finally shot over him a couple of times . I have done everything I can not to shoot him . Hopefully after the last dog episode he will stay away . I havn't seen one as big as he is in a while .

We had a smaller one hanging around the house in north Idaho this summer. Appears the bird feed my wife puts out lured him in as he would just devour it. That is a pretty one.

Nice pic ! We got one here raiding feeders and garbage. He stands on suet cake cages with both front feet and the suet oozes out like toothpaste ! Minimal damage otherwise. Woofed at me a few weeks ago at midnite when I got home from work and closing truck door disturbed his nap. I woofed back, we had a short discussion and parted ways safely. I could not live in a city. Ain'y civvylized 'nuff. steve b

Bears put the wild, in wilderness ! Being in the hills/mtns is nice, add bears and you get the whole experience ! I take steps, go armed, and ENJOY ! Am so glad to have found my way here, to this site. My kinda folks it seems. steve b

Pretty Bear and a great pic...The old boy just wanted a nice bench to set on. Did you try wrestling him? Just turn the hat around backwards, roll up those sleeves and show that old fart whose boss. He can't gum you to death. Thanks for sharing that pic.
