Aging eyes require a peep sight for my 1915 '92 WW in .32-20. I want a tang sight... what do you guys like and why? Brownell's has marbles and lyman but I don't think the lyman is offered for the '92.

I like the Marble's sight since it is windage adjustable. I have one mounted on my Browning 53 in 32-20 (A copy of the Winchester 92). It works extremely well and is far superior to the factory open sight and does help my aging eyes....

Hey JD, thanx for the input. Here I thought that maybe I smelled bad... with no replies and all.

I like the Marbles tang sight also. It’s on a Winchester model 55 30wcf. The one I got from Brownells came with three apertures. I settled on the middle size. The smallest one was great for target shooting but when hunting in low light it was too small. Here it is in its common application. No bad smells here, just a bad memory for responding

I have aging eyes and I can match a 4X scope at a 100yds with a tang sight . If you have a drift over ft sight you don't need the adj windage one and save money . For hunting use the aperture with the largest hole and some time I drill them out larger . Under 75 yds at deer I take the aperture off sight and shoot it without it , the threaded hole works just great .

The Lyman tang sight for the Win M-94 works just fine on a M-92 (personal experience here). Windage adjustments can be made pretty precisely by shimming - pop cans work well for shims.
