Found this one this week traded into a local store. Darn near new condition 45 Colt Ruger Vaquero. You can tell it's a tad heavier than a Colt clone, but the balance is great!

bccl: The thing I like about the Vaqueros and New Vaqueros for that matter is the steel frame. Despite its slimmer contours it is heavier than an aluminum grip framed Blackhawk. That weight will come in handy if you shoot "Ruger Only" loads.

I certainly like my Ruger Vaquero .45 Colt. It has won me more than a few medals at BPCR pistol side matches. Shooting of this revolver with black powder gave me a real appreciation for the original black powder .45 Colt loads: Dale53
