How does this compare to the original ones and that grip is weird compared to the modern bisley. How does it roll in hand if you learn to shoot it properly as designed. They say that they made it for target shooting which I think would be with one hand. Not sure why they call the modern bisley a bisley when it is a new design. Like a birds head is not a bisley.

I am a big fan of the ruger bisley. I have only shot the inertial bisley on one occasion. A friend of a friend was over and he had one. We and each shot a cylinder full of the others gun. He had my ruger bisley nene model flattop 44 special with a gentle target load. I was shooting his uberti 357 magnum bisley loaded with a mild 38 special. We were both glad to give each others piece back. Haha. I have no doubt that if I owned one and put in the time it would grow on me. I actually love the look of the gun. I just found it awkward after owning and shooting 8 or 10 of ruger’s variety over the years.
