I made a trip today and I picked up a 44 mag BFR 5 inch barrel with bisley grip. Then I stopped at a second store and traded a Ruger SBH on a like new Dan Wesson model 15 with 6 inch barrel 357 mag. While I was there I looked at their single action guns and the man said to try the different grips. He gave me a Taylor's gunfighter model and some other ones with the standard grip. I never knew it would have made that much difference. He also showed me the Tauras SAA and it has 4 clicks and feels solid and quality. But he didn't have any of them in 7.5 inch so I got the Dan Wesson. Next was a stop at Taylor's in Winchester and I looked at their line up. The gunfighter model in 7.5 in and a new old hammer and trigger and 2 groove base pin was added to the order. They will tune the gun with the 4 click hammer and trigger and then send them with the Factory hammer and trigger in a couple days. They said Uberti would not sale any guns with the old 4 click hammer. So you have to install yourself if you want it. Pretty good day for a gun nut in America. Count your blessings.

I just cleaned the BFR and looked it over. The best I can tell is .002 cylinder gap and .430 throats. Next is the range.
