Very early production 2001 Accusport 45 Colt. A guy on the Ruger forum did some research asking folks to divulge their guns serial numbers, and the earliest reported was 48-0793X. This one is 07937. Through trial and error, punching in descending numbers, rugers website shows the first of these guns is 48-07847. The GB gun is from the first run, for sure, and seems very nice. If I did not already own one from 2003, I would certainly buy it. I think these guns, especially the later production models with the ACP cylinder) are the very most versatile factory Blackhawk made. That's if you get along well with Bisley grips in the heaviest loads. They are quite heavy guns, though. www.gunbroker.com/item/1074592586
