Need to have him make me a long ojive .375 slug. No one makes a longer bullet that mimics a 300 gr. .375 H&H rifle bullet. Most designs have the majority of the bullet in the case with too many lube grooves. A throwback to BP days.
I need Veral to make me a .375 bullet that has a body that's about as long as the neck portion of a .375 H&H case neck. Let the rest stick out towards the rifling lands. Just a 300 gr. with the RN ground flat. You don't need the GC sticking below the neck and the more bullet outside the case the lower pressures and better powder management.
I'm certain he'll have an opinion on that. I'd be interested in a 300 gr. hunting bullet for the largest game.

What you are really making is a 375 Winchester with those lead bullets...which is funny because that was the original chambering.
I have really been surprised at the efficiency of cast bullets for cost and for killing, even with the 140gr 30-30 at 1300fps it drops deer within 100yds. Veral makes good molds and don't forget that Montana Bullet Works (Dave Jennings) uses a lot of his molds for his bullets in case you wanted to try some before committing...I know WB just wants another project so he'll do some hit or miss for a while. He's probably whittling a mold with his pocket knife as we speak.
BTW WB...Did you opt for that Gunfighter grip mod on the FA? Just curious as a cat...
