What is the difference between a Glock G43 and a 43X?

The 43X has the longer grip of the G48. Have them in hand now, before I answered.

You can also get 15 round metal mags for the 43x

I like the longer grip, the mag falls free without catching on my lower palm.

Mag guts will get you to 8 + 1 in the 43…. And if you swap the 43x mos slide with the 43 you’ll have a dot n the 43! In my quest for the unicorn! Though the full grip of the 43 x is way better for “shoot-ability “.

Could never get magguts to work that well. Tried them on various 380s and in my 43. At this point , I’m using a Pearse plus 1 extension on my OEM 43 mags and they work without a hitch.

The 15rd steel Shield mags require a different mag catch. That mag catch doesn't play nice with the OEM mags. Who here is committed to using the 15rd Shield mags ? I may part with the 2 I have.

Check out the G48. Same grip frame as 43X but with a slightly longer slide. Much better choice for my money
