Horrible picture quality but I’m pleased with how these turned out. Made from stabilized maple burl. Several coats of tung oil and then sanded back with 1000 grit sandpaper.

Good work. I also use tung oil. I typically knock down the shine between coats as well using 0000 steel wool.
