How about a drawer full of military knives and bayonets? Been throwing them in there for years when they show up. Someday I got to dig them out and see what all's in there.

This is one of three I've got from custom knife maker & good friend Kim Ralston. I gave 2 of them to a couple of my sons & this one below I just gave to my good buddy Larry. These are amazing knives but I had to do something for Larry, he gave me a depredation elk tag for the elk that were raiding his hay fields last month. Kim neatly crafted the 44 case head into the handle & he calls this the "Sixshot" model. It only took me one shot so I'm hoping I get 5 more knives........... Really I'm hoping I can get one more for myself but I had to do something for Larry & he's already field dressed an deer & an elk with the knife & loves it. The knife sheath is by "Doc" Barranti, as always. Dick

This was a "kitchen" thing that I rehandled to be more of a "sportin" thing.

All my knives are probably uninteresting compared to the custom handmade ones here that are very nice.

If a number of knives equates to a level of foolishness, I'll stay out of this.

I've been casually looking at EDC folding knives for a while to replace my well worn Beretta, but my wants / needs seem to be rare.
I need at least a minimal quillion to prevent my hand from sliding down towards the blade in the event I need it in a thrusting motion, a clip on the opposite end of the blade hinge, and a hole to mount my keys on.
The quest continues.
