Was lately tempted to buy a knife pricier than I've ever spent in the pointy and sharp category. That got me to dig deep , into the basement tote of knives and see what might have become collectible since I looked last. I now have a friend helping me sell a couple of '70-80's Gerbers. Am giving a friends son a CASExx fixed blade hunting knife, his first. I know some time ago ,here, I mentioned a CASExx Hatchet/knife combo. This one using same handle, blades get swapped. All fits in same sheath. This may get sold too. I've other knives from G'Pa and Uncles, need not keep everyone. EDIT..the knife/hatchet combo to be let go. I know my wording can be weird. A lifetime thing.

I get it. I have a box of knives that I may need to move. Living close to Case/Zippo and Cutco/Kabar is dangerous.

Yeah, an Uncle lived in Bradford. Have CASE and Ka-Bar from him and another Uncle that lived in NorthEast Penn.. Our favorite waitress at Westline Inn, works 3rd shift at CASE. My G'Pa left me some Circle UMC pocket knives too.

I have a few but I wouldn't call myself a collector. Case is my favorite brand of knife. I love the Tribal locks they were making. I have a few with Mastodon ivory that employee only salas.

I have 7 or 8 Case knives so not much of a collector as i can't leave them in the box. I think i have to carry them in a pocket. Would love to collect them but guns take up much of my play money. The copper loc is my favorite knife. Flashlights are another thing i spend money on.

I was able to meet a fellow a few years back whose father owned the pawn shop in Central Florida in the seventies and this man told me his father had collected over 5,000 Case Knives which he had in his possession. I got to see all of the Winchester's there's a thread of it somewhere but I didn't look at the knives

Knife talk? Just what I need.... There is an old wooden cash register drawer set out on the shop. Not many knives in it but... There is a personal unwritten rule for me to NOT to go near it. I know who needs them when I'm gone. He is the only one who needs to know where they are. Anybody else thinking we need to start a "Knife" thread?

I'm not a collector, I am a user! I have 5-6 Case knives. I carry this 6.5375 in my pocket. My belt knife rotates between a Buck 192 and this 6265 Those 2 are the main Case knives. I have a few others, but they will be passed along or sold. There are several Case fixed blades I'd love to find, and couple of other folders.

I'll be watching this thread with bib on. Knives, particularly traditional pocket knives, are a big obsession for me. I have 2 or 3 on me every day.

A couple of Case Tony Bose collaborations, a Eureka pattern in jigged bone and a Wharncliffe Trapper pattern in ebony.

Gunner, that little Wharncliffe is an absolute needle, too.
