I’m wanting a 10” contender in the 327 fed. But I thought the 32 acp would also be a cool little target gun.

I most definitely agree with that. The energies are similar with a 357 Magnum Revolver.
I took a 25-20 to Africa and used it with success. Granted, I used it on Whitetail sized and smaller critters.
The old 32-20 can still be loaded to impressive ballistics.

Out of a carbine the 327 really does quite a lot with a little. 14.8gr h110 and a .311 winchester 123gr bullet with nose trimmed to 119gr went 1971fps. For ref my 300 blackout M7 does 2170fps with 120gr bullets and 3gr more powder.

Yep!!! American Eagle 100 grn get 2060 fps. It's a dandy rifle cartridge...
