This photo was from a couple years ago. I'm bummed I blanked on deer and elk muzzleloader the past two weeks so I was going through some pics of more successful times.... My lovely wife and I were hunting goats near Ft. Sumner and I saw a decent one on the skyline first thing in the morning of the second day of the hunt. We both jumped out of the truck and put the stalk on the one on the left which I dispatched with my favorite German Handi-rifle in .270 Win shooting a 110gr Barnes TTSX at nearly 3500fps. As we stood up to walk to him his buddy popped up on the skyline. She had left her rifle in the truck so I handed her mine and said "shoot 'em!" She did..... Two down in about a minute. What a crazy memory!

Best part of that photo to me is the "Grins of dominion".

German Handi-rifle 😂
Pretty sure the scope mount alone is worth a handi-rifle or two
