I'd eventually like to have a Custom FA97. Maybe buy a used 41 Magnum and have it rechambered/rebarreled to 44-40?... There's lots of room for customization on the 97. They benefit from action work for sure. Lots of potential in the grip frame for tweaking. There's a handful of titanium scope mounts for them floating around. Worth keeping an eye open.

Rechamber possibilities are very slim and few want to tackle building cylinders from scratch.
But, Jack is working on me an Octagon 500 JRH FA83 now. I'd like to add a Custom 97 and BFR before I retire for the second time.
If the 357s were 5-Shot, I'd be eyeballing a 38-40 FA97 Build...
