I was putting together some loads for one of my favorite revolvers. It is an OM FT .357 with a 4 5/8ths barrel. Customized by John Powers. I Told John I wanted Color cased frame and Hammer and a durable blue finish. We decided on black oxide. It does not look quite as good as a fine blue but it is very durable and looks just fine. If has a well fitted set of Elk stag grips, John cut a slot in the sight base and mad a nice pin in blade. We all know these early Blackhawks were great out of the box, and after tuning and dressing up by a great smith like John, that it shoots great is a given. I have a Barranti Northwest Mountain Companion for it, and it is a gun anyone would be proud of. The load i am building for it is a 170 grain Keith from Rim Rock, on top of 7.3 Grains of Longshot. I Shot that bullet with 6.8 grains, and made some surprisingly good shots. I expect to get it out this week,...tj

How about some pictures? We all enjoy looking over a nice revolver. Gives us something to plan our future builds.

There's simply no more pleasurable a shooter than a nice Old Model 357
