What is a nice Ruger Single Seven with a 7 1/2 barrel in near new condition in the box worth these days? I'm not seeing many for sale.

A year or two ago I bought a Single Six with a shorter barrel, I guess 6” or 6.5”, whatever was standard, for $600. It was in great condition. I would hazard a guess that yours might bring a hundred or two more because they are getting customized daily. Mine was going to be, but things changed and I sold it for what I bought it for.

This is the 7 shot .327 magnum version and I don't know how many were produced I bought it new probably 10 years ago.

I think they built 1000 of them with the 7.5 inch barrel. I paid about $625.00 for mine. I might be wrong on both accounts.

Thanks for the replies, I was thinking about selling it but I may just keep it, probably one I would regret selling.

No problem, had a couple of the old .32 H&R Bisleys that I should have kept!

I have missed almost every one I sold. But they are just stuff and I get over it quickly. Mine is the stainless 7 1/2” single 7. It came from the Bob Baer collection that was being sold. He has done some modifications to it so it isn’t original, but each mod is useful. I won’t say it will never be sold but right now I am enjoying it so much that I doubt it will be.

TO ME AN ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL UPGRADE ON ANY SINGLE 7 IS A FREE SPIN CYLINDER! WHEN I FIRST GOT MY 7.5" SINGLE 7 I THOUGHT IT WAS DEFECTIVE 'cuz WITH A NORMAL "can't go back" CYLINDER ROTATION YOU WERE WAY PAST THE POINT OF BEING ABLE TO EXTRACT OR CHAMBER A ROUND.

I did put a Belt Mountain cylinder pin in mine, I guess the spring or something was weak and the stock pin kept up coming out, I didn't feel like shipping it back to Ruger.

The indexing on a SS6 in 32H&R can be a pita. I would imagine that the S7 is worse.
