Sure made a nice 1911, a lightweight bobtail commander is still on my dream list of guns and he perfected it.

Hadn’t heard that. He sure made some classy looking 1911s. I always like the bobtail and the exec elite.

Good one.. Met him at the Bianchi Cup in '87. Had him build me a 10mm Maxi Comp on a new Colt that same year. He knew what mattered in a 1911 build.

Sorry to hear. I’ve been carrying a Kobra Carry as my primary winter weapon for many years . The man produced some fine arms and accessories . RIP Mr Brown.
