Hey Dude. Designer trigger. neener neener. Fitting up all our new parts on you single six and really diggin it! Had to square up and open your frame up to 5/8 24 from the original 9/16 x 20. Pre 82 model huh? Great shape but she aint a 22 anymore. shes a full blown smith and wesson shaped barrel wearing 38-44 HD 5 shooter now. Havent marked it yet but will have her done shortly. where do you want the caliber markings and stuff? Barrell, frame? Lot more finger room. My triggers to the left. see the boss at the pin hole. Both sides. you have to fit it with a couple of scoops on the outside to the inside of the frame, but it keeps the trigger from going side to side and holds the bolt straight. It will only let the bolt go up and down. Now your gun here is bolt blocked any way but it is super smooth. It also will keep perfect alignment of the sear surfaces for smooth and consistant release. Also do you like the Bisley or the Mini Super blackhawk hammer? Talk to me buddy! R

As we discussed in our conversation about this, either is fine if cylinder is built from the right steel.
Lee has been wanting a Uberti Stallion in 38 Special for some years. I'm betting this cures that itch...

" No apologies necessary. Even thougn the thread was not what I had expected from the title, it was a worthwhile read just the same. If its about a handgun, especialy a revolver, and more especially a Single Action, I'm gonna read it!

You guys are killing me!
It's beautiful.
I've always felt that the Single Six was a "bit much" (steel) for a six-shot 22, and Ruger's 35 caliber SAs were WAY too much (steel) for a 35.
THIS is the answer.

As Encore64 noted, I had been looking for a Uberti Stallion Target in .38 Spl for many years. Now I'm glad I never found one. What Ronnie posted above is beyond perfect in my opinion. He and I just spoke, and I went with his Super Blackhawk style Single-Six hammer over the Bisley. Both look great, but I wanted the uniqueness of the RDW design. It sounds like these will also be available for OM's down the road. Can't wait to shoot this thing. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Out of respect for the S6 Frame, I keep pressures reasonable regardless of cylinder strength.
These guns will do an honest 1200 fps with a 158 grn bullet.
That's plenty of power for this frame...
