As usual I don't have the know how to put up the ad. If you go to Guns International and search Linebaugh. There is a 2 gun package of Linebaughs made by John. Number 11 and number 13 I think. Pricey but neat to see.

Absolutely beautiful! I just acquired #1170, identical to the 5 1/2" there.

Pricey, yes, but they will sell close to that. Mine was just under half that. John told me $6k, with no brass grip frame,no fancy walnut, and no barrel band. Low numbers like those will bring it.

Handsome examples of his work in signature calibers.
Hope they go to a good home!

Makes it all the more heartbreaking that mine was in process when he passed...we talked a few months before and I told him to take his time...

until the later years John had different runs of guns being numbered concurrently. That vaquero was the 66th full build vaquero he made. I believe he combined all the number ranges and started numbering consecutively somewhere in the 900s

Here’s No 16, well worn, carried and shot a lot. Turning a nice purple. A couple years ago John was playing with it during a visit, and wanted to give it a quick “Tune up” it felt perfect before, and locked up great, but 3 swipes with a file, and it’s even better.
