I like the way they look. Does anybody have experience with the new ones? Now on GB in the 1500.00 range. Very tempting.

I have one on layaway from Gunbroker., ETA end of October. With the buy now option, cc fees, PA sales tax, shipping, + FFL transfer I’m in at $1710. Gun looks great, I have 1970 pythons and detective specials but not the new stuff. Thought about an anaconda but I like the porting so went the way of the kodiak.
Maybe a Grizzly in my stocking for Christmas, never know.
More to come.

I have an Anaconda 6 inch and love it. Not sure the Kodiak gets me anything else functional but if I have extra money I'll probably buy one. Great looking revolver and a sexy Colt is hard to beat.

The Kodiak is an Anaconda without flutes and ports added.
I also have a 6" Anaconda and love it. The Kodiak should be an excellent revolver.
Look forward to your reports...

This week I had a chance to handle two of the Kodiaks... a most excellent revolver. Fit and finish and trigger pull were all very well executed. The balance on these is exceptional and the non fluted cylinder almost looks better in person than it does even in the best photos. Compared to my Anaconda, I think the 2 Kodiaks I handled have better trigger pulls, albeit very slightly and that would be hard to do.
Currently, Gunbroker prices are actually more friendly than local prices so I'm going to wait. But I will definitely be buying one of these.
Probably mate it with a new Ruger/Marlin 1894 SBL too.
