I got to handle one at the local gun shop. It was a 45 Colt with the 5-1/2” barrel. Trying a 0.452” slug, it had a tight throat fit. The cylinder gap was pretty tight also. The fit and finish was very well done for a gun in this price range. Square notch rear sight and typical Colt type front blade and a little shiny in bright sunlight. Typical Colt 4 clicks and workings except a transfer bar was arranged so it would only fire with the trigger pulled. It is SAFE to carry with six cartridges because the hammer can’t touch the frame mounted firing pin unless the trigger is back. It pretty well shoots to the sights also. A pretty well done up single action. Give it a look.

I've checked out several of them and they appear excellent...
The hammer is horrible. But, for the price point, they aren't bad.

The hammers finish is rather dull with no shiny sides. The hammer spur is higher than Colts and Rutgers, however I took it as the higher spur on a fanning hammer. It does work quite well for that and it has a very good trigger pull .
