im looking for a bolt spring for a stainless steel virginia dragoon in 44 magnum ive checked numrich and jack first no luck ive read ruge blackhawk might work does anyone here know for sure or have any suggesstions

Perhaps others can tell you whether a Colt clone part will fit. Ruger parts do not interchange with Colt-type lockwork. Bill Ruger commenced his single action production with coil springs and never looked back. Doesn’t matter whether you use a carbon steel or stainless spring as long it fits. May not matter if an original style flat spring is used, or newer style wire spring, providing the revolver functions. You might check Brownells and single action specialists. David Bradshaw
