Well: this is a 125 grain in front of 2400 couple hundred loaded but a couple of chambers would not let go, (they were only for the pistol) so that is what got the repair. Have a nice day

Well: I have had that blackhawk since they first came out, so it is a known history, the gun had two chambers which were grabbing the hot loads with 125 grain. The repair order was showing repair but who knows what they had to do to fix problem. The conversion was done in a weak second when I was going to use it in a khornet, I have all the parts. The cyl is stamped with serial #. The planned pairing did not happen as the trip got canceled. Have a nice day Don K

A nice first year 4-digit gun for sure. Well taken care of!

I have much the same gun, an early 4 digit, I also have cylinder issues, a few that are not right. I have asked Ruger about fixing it but they said I would have to send the gun in, but as it has the best trigger of any three screw I have owned or shot I won't do it. I believe I have someone who will fix it for me. I have been shooting it for years like this. I often leave the range with at least one or two pieces of brass so stuck that I wait until I get home to get them unstuck. At the indoor range, they are not happy with me doing repairs on site.

Get a cylinder hone from flexhone. I like 400 to start and 800 to final polish. It doesn't take long and is simple to do. Just chuck up in the drill and move it back and forth in the cylinder chambers. Use a good oil. I like Kroil. Clean thoroughly and test.
It'll polish them to a mirror and show any bulges or burrs

Mine was not a 3 screw, but early transfer bar gun, that spit lead horribly… I had it for years, refusing to part with it, and eventually used it for a custom… turns out the chambers were not true to the ratchet, on 5 of the 6
