Here's my Rodeo in .44 special. Once I get some ammo, I'll be off to the range. [/img]

Nice lookin enjoy, Was that a special order? I thought they were only available in .38spl or .45colt. I have just inquired on a storekeeper 4" with antique/patena finish and birdshead/Bisley Hammer,

I got it used, but in great condition so I don't know if it was special order or not. I think I read that they did offer it in .44 for a little while though.

If you will call Gary Grainger he can get you a Rodeo in any of their standard calibers, I think. You have to be willing to wait for a while, but it can be done. I have seen Rodeos in .38 WCF and .44 Special. I once had a inquired about a Rodeo in .44 Special and almost a year later Gary emailed that he had one if I wanted it. By that time I was paying off my Rodeo in .45 Colt!

Thats a very nice gun and caliber combination you have there you will enjoy it alot. I believe USFA charges an extra $100.00 for a caliber other than the standard 45 Colt or 38 Spl., at least at one time they did also the same amount for a CCH hamer.

Nice gun! My Rodeo was in similar "used" condition when I picked it up. It was not easy to tell if it had ever been fired or not. I certainly cannot tell if yours was - a beauty.
