This rifle is one of my favorites.  Tends to get a LOT of range time.  The Tech-Sights have become almost mandatory on my 10/22s.  Trigger work by Brimstone makes the pull light and crisp.  Factory blued barrel was replaced with a Ruger threaded stainless.  Bolt internals by Kidd and Moonduck.  It shoots pretty small groups with just ol Federal AutoMatch.  It’s a real keeper.

As long as it works for you and makes you happy. That's what counts. I would probably choose different sights, but that's me.

Looks good. I bought a bottom of the line plastic stock 1022 a couple years back with the intent of going the Tech Sights/adult stock with sling route, but it's still on the back burner.

That Federal Automatch is usually good consistent ammo, can't say the same of their blue box bulk stuff.

Nice carbine TDB! The Tech-Sights were my only option when I had an XS Ghost Ring aperture installed onto my 77/22M. While they ARE tall, they work GREAT! I wish my barrel came threaded, it would have been a nice option...
