On 5/15/9 I sent two frames, hammers, and loading gates to Turnbulls for CCH. Today the UPS man delievered them to my house, and they look great. Next week the bluing and fire bluing I dropped off all polished will be ready. For me this is better than normal turn around. I'm a happy camper.

I'm pretty sure everything that the good smiths are working on right now was in their shops already when Saracuda still had a shot at the title.
I have had two date slides hit this months from basically my "first" forays into the realm of customs. Mr. Huntington is in Africa right now. When we talked six weeks ago, he had just gotten my beast back from Mahovsky's and thought it would be done in a month.
The other is the brass bisley grip frame I have my heart set on moved out from next week to the fall/winter this year.
I have no idea if this is normal or a rare occurence. I'm new to this scene.
For me, though, these date slides on these are relaxing compared to date slides at work. I work in aviation.

It's scary to think how much damage he and the rest of the left-wing will do before '10 & '12 (and that assumes there'll be a shift in those years....certainly no given). Just look at how far they've set us back in 100+ days. Sadly, we'll be stuck with Sotomayor way beyond '12. -Lee www.singleactions.com

Unfortuantely, maybe we'll ge tlucky and they'll put a Republican in the oval office next time, and my apologies John, I thought you meant I haven't been around here that long.

If we're lucky they'll put a true conservative in the oval office....there're plenty of moderate Republicans out there that I disagree with (though they're still better than what we have now). -Lee www.singleactions.com

I agree. Just because someone's a Republican, doesn't mean they're worth a crap. We need a true conservative with a decent sense of what's right for our country...someone who hasn't been tainted by the garbage that's currently in Washington. If that means voting for someone from a third party, then so be it.

That is exactly what we need, however we must remember the historic Democrat stance on "gun control" personally i think a Republican a LITTLE on the liberal side might not be a bad thing

i can tell you what lagging behind in both the custom and production areas of gun building and it's AR15's!!! as soon as results came in naked lower receivers dryed up! i have two project guns that are waiting for parts i didn't have in the toy chest after the election results came in, just everyday standard issue internal fire control parts and bolt assembly have been on back order for months!

I'm sure they have, being we must also keep in mind the fact that the same machinery that turns out AR stuff for us makes the same parts in M-16 configuration for the military and we are kind of in the middle of a war.
