Sounds like a nice camp you have going there. I don't have anything like that, just the back of the farm. But anticipating the hunt is the same. I clear a bit of trail, work on my spot, scout for sign.
I have several spots I like to sit, one of them nestled in some bolders. The other is going to be overlooking a low spot that is covered with walnut trees, some hickory, and is a passthrough area towards the oaks. It also skirts some cliffs, and heads towards water. The deer have a few main trails running through there.

We just have a shed the gather at, get in out of the rain, and cook under. No one stays the night. The majority of the young men that hunt with us have moved on to other places forming their own camps and that is good too. Yesterday afternoon I had the privilege of showing a young man around our property “mostly leased land” and shared the few rules we have. 1. Gun safety first and foremost always and everywhere 2. No fires outside of fire ring 3. No cutting of trees on leased property 4. Don’t be an ass
He and his family are already great friends of ours. He is a great young husband and father that I look forward to cooking biscuits and backstabs with and bring a litttle life back to our place.
